In observance of Veterans Day- No practice Tuesday November 11^th, 2008.

Happy Veterans Day to all: 

There will be no practice on Tuesday at Burbank High School. Practice will resume on Tuesday November 18, 2008. However, we will be in the classroom on Thursday. Next tournament is Saturday, November 15, 2008. See Coach Mike for details.

1)  All report cards are due. SBA will have a special award for all students who achieve a 3.0 or better GPA.  Deadline for the special award is Thursday, November 13, 2008. Please give a copy of your student’s report card to Ms Ozella or myself.

 2) Due to the Burbank High School basketball season starting, the remaining workout schedule is as follows: Tuesday 11/18/08, Tuesday, 12/11/08, and Thursday 12/18/08. Coach Mike is currently working on another gym location. Classroom and tutoring will remain available at Burbank. Times to be determined..

4) We will be having tryouts for new players looking to play on the Showtime Hoops AAU Teams. (5th thru 8^th grade during High School season)

 5) If you have additional agenda items that need to be discussed, or you would like to participate in future SBA events, please let me know.

Next Showtime Hoops AAU Tournament November 15thh, 2008. All SBA participants in the tournament are given a discounted fee of $15.00 per player.  Players will need to purchase new AAU cards for the 2009 season. The fee is 14.00.  You can go online or you can see Coach Lita or Ms. Ozella for information.
